1. General
ZGD-II-1 low-resistance grounding module is one kind of nonmetal earth electrode, and it is composed mainly of nonmetal mineral and electrolyte with good electric conductivity and stability. It can be used for lightning protection grounding (of building), electrostatic protection grounding, AC & DC power grounding, safe protective grounding, and grounding for other purpose.
Corresponding standard: Enterprise standard Q/20184261-8.8-2002.
Passed finalization appraisal on ministry level.
Obtained national patent: No. 94230002.5, 97107543.3
2. Features
1)Corrosion-resistance, non-poisonous, long service life and easy installation.
2)Ability of absorbing water and keeping humidity, 22%--40% lower grounding resistance co***red with metal earth electrode in same size.
3)No increase of resistance, no induration, no brickle and no cracks after large capacity current impulse.
4)Decreasing the grounding resistance efficiently in the area with high earth resistivity.
5)With low seasonal influence on grounding resistance, and resistance can be kept stable in long period.
3. Principle
For this kind of grounding module, there is a metal electrode in it, which connected with the earth lead of the equipment. Thus the lightning grounding current can be discharged into the ground quickly in low grounding resistance state. The principle is: Increasing current-dispersing area of earth electrode itself, reducing grounding contact resistance between the earth electrode and soil, absorbing water and keeping humidity efficiently, and then it can be used as conducting material with high efficiency.
4. Calculation
Based on the soil resistivity in the area where the ground module is buried, the following formula can be used to calculate the amount of modules:
